Review My Golf Pro was established by two golfers from central New Jersey who saw a growing need for a resource to help golfers find and research the golf instructors that teach in their area. Through our research, golfers have told us they would value being able to read other golfers’ reviews of the instructors they have worked with. We have built Review My Golf Pro around this concept. We are working to make it as easy as possible to find and review a pro on our site, but the truth is that it is you, the golfer, who will help us make this resource great with your objective reviews of the instructors you have worked with.

Golf is a game that so few are able to learn to do extremely well. Even less are able to teach themselves to play well. The golf swing is simple and complicated all at the same time. Driving, approaching, chipping, sand play, and putting are all games in and of themselves, with different fundamentals. How the heck are we supposed to get any better at this game if we don’t have the right mentors and experts to teach us it all?

We learned the game like a lot of others; our dads and friends gave us little tips along the way and slowly we developed some form of a golf swing. We took whatever god given ability we had and the swing took us the rest of the way. That only got us so far though. Eventually we had to break down and take golf lessons. The lessons got us to the point that we were both 13 handicaps and loving this game more than ever.

What we have come to realize is that everyone who plays this game should be taught how to play it the right way, from the right instructors, from the beginning. In reality moms, dads, friends and business partners are great at lots of things, but perhaps not the best people to learn our great game from. Review My Golf Pro was started to help golfers get connected with the right teachers in their area as early as possible.

We hope you will help us on this quest by sharing your experiences with all of the teachers you have worked with. And yes, we want the good, the bad, and the ugly. If you do, you will be helping your fellow golfer more than you know.

Thanks and here’s to having more fun by playing better golf.
