What are your review guidelines? What can be included in reviews?
Answer: Please click on the link to view our Review Guidelines to see what is permitted in a review. It has a list of do’s and don’ts to help you write a great review. You can also check out our Review Help page for additional information.
I added a new Golf Pro but cannot see him/her yet. How long will it take before the new Pro is listed by the site?
Answer: The information you entered for a new Golf Pro will be reviewed and verified by our team before the Pro can officially added and reviewed. NOTE: Please do not resubmit a pro's name - a duplicate submission may cause a delay in approval. If you feel your Pro submission is taking too long to be approved, feel free to Contact Us. Please allow 3 business days before contacting us.
Why do I have to register with your site in order to post a review?
Answer: You must have a valid e-mail address in order to post a review of a Golf Pro. In reviewing a Golf Professional you are in fact reviewing a business whose reputation can rely on accurate reviews and other information available to the public. To help reduce the incidence of bogus reviews (whether they be positive or negative reviews) we have enlisted a few safeguards. Your personal profile information will not be shared with the Pro being reviewed so you can review your Pro with confidence.
Will a Pro know that I have rated him or her?
Answer: No. While a Pro will know that he/she has been rated if they are signed up with us, the Pro will only be able to see the same information that everyone else sees when reviews are displayed. When we display a review we include only your user name and the demographic information about you, the golfer (age range, gender, approx. handicap), that helps readers understand the TYPE of golfer that did the review. If you want to be absolutely certain that you remain anonymous you should do 2 things; 1) Use a username that does not lead anyone to know who you are and 2) do not put any personally identifiable information into any of your reviews.
Why was my review or response to a review deleted?
Answer: Comments that are inconsistent with Review Guidelines are removed by our moderations. Our determination is final and reviews that have been removed will not be reinstated to the site.
Can I flag a review or a Pro’s response that I believe should be removed from your site?
Answer: Yes, you can. Simply click on the "Report this review" link in the review itself to report to us that you think the review or the response may violate our review guidelines. We will then review it. Comments, reviews, and responses that are inconsistent with Review Guidelines will be removed.
How do the reviews work? How is overall rating calculated?
Answer: All categories are based on a 5 point rating system, with 5 being the best. The overall rating is a weighted average of the recommendation, improvement, clarity, and value ratings where the answer to the recommendation question is set to carry more weight than the other 3 factors as it is the ultimate test of how good our golfers feel their pro really was. The value rating gets the least emphasis. See Review Help for additional information on the categories and how to answer the review survey.
Do you ever share my personal information to third parties?
My information is incorrect, how can I correct it? How do I take control of my listing on your site?
Answer: To correct the information in your basic listing or take control of your listing follow these simple steps; click here to search for your listing again and then click on your name in the search results to see your detailed information. This is the Pro detail page. Click on “Is this you?” below the image area, and then follow the instructions to sign up to take over your basic listing. You will also be offered several subscription options to enhance your listing on the site and help use Review My Golf Pro to build your lesson business. What is your refund policy? Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
30 day satisfaction guarantee
When you first join Review My Golf Pro as a Pro subscriber you will have 30 days to evaluate our service. If within the first 30 days of signing up you decide that Review My Golf Pro is not for you, simply send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and request a full refund of your first month subscription.
Upgrades and Downgrades
If you request to upgrade to the next level plan your card will be charged for the difference between your current subscription and the new more expensive subscription and your added benefits for that change will be available to you within 24-48 hours of that transaction.
Should you opt to downgrade your subscription level to a less expensive plan. This change will take place at the end of the next billing cycle and no refund will be issued for any unused services.
After the first 30 days, if you cancel your services your cancellation will take effect on your next billing cycle. This means we won’t be able to refund you for any unused portion of your services. For example, you chose a monthly subscription on June 1. On December 1 after several months on the service, your credit card is charged for the next monthly fee as usual. On December 12, you decide to cancel your subscription. No further charges will be made to your credit card, but you will not receive a refund for the period of December 13 through December 31.
To cancel your subscription please send an e-mail to email@example.com with your account name and the reasons why you have decided to cancel and we will cancel your subscription per this policy.
Items eligible for a refund will be issued to the method of original payment.
It may take up to a few days for us to process your cancellation or plan change, but all cancellations and changes will be effective as of the date that we receive your change request.
